This roundtable will explore the role of the executive branch in setting US foreign policy.

The authority of the executive branch over foreign policy has continued to expand, including through the use of military force and the forging of international agreements.

Are the decisions made by the executive branch reflective of the views of the general public? What role does the executive branch play in shaping foreign policy and what impact will the general election have on the future of US foreign policy?

This event is co-hosted with the Centre on US Politics at UCL.
