Players and staff from three AFL teams have reportedly been forced into isolation in Queensland after they unwittingly visited Covid exposure sites before leaving Victoria ahead of this week’s round of matches.
The Age is reporting that Essendon and North Melbourne have one player each in lockdown after exposure sites were re-graded by the Victorian government. The players are believed to have attended the Wallabies rugby union Test match against France on Wednesday at the MCG, which has now been re-graded as a tier one site.
