SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) – There were 2.082 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, including 20 new deaths, reported in Illinois on Tuesday by public health officials.

The cases were diagnosed from 55,705 tests administered in the state, placing Illinois’ seven-day positivity rate at 4%.
