Two men and two women injured and two homes destroyed in blast in Heysham, police say

A young child has died and four other people have been injured in a suspected gas explosion in Heysham, Lancashire that destroyed two homes.

A major incident was declared after the explosion on Mallowdale Avenue at about 2.30am on Sunday which also left a third house badly damaged.
